If you want to use your phone without Wi-Fi, you will need an international plan. We recommend reaching out to your provider to ask what options they offer for extending your current plan for the duration of the program.
It can be helpful to have an international plan for times when you venture off on your own so that you have a way to reach other fellows since they mainly utilize WhatsApp to communicate.
